Moving House Checklist
Generate your moving admin list
Start with the questions on the left. The generated checklist will appear here and can be edited, exported, printed, or cleared.
What this moving house checklist covers
The checklist covers the home admin that tends to scatter across different places: utilities, council tax, broadband, phones, insurance, banking, DVLA records, schools, clubs, medical providers, subscriptions, pets, parking permits, and smart home services.
It is designed for UK home moves and keeps the first set of questions deliberately short. Once the list is generated, you can add provider names, notes, extra items, and duplicate checklist rows for things like multiple vehicles, banks, insurance policies, or internet connections.
Privacy and saved checklist data
Your working checklist is stored in your browser so it is still there if you leave and come back later. It is not saved to a Casually Amazing account or sent to the server.
Provider suggestions may be loaded from the site database, but your selected providers, notes, custom checklist items, and completion status stay local to your browser unless you export or print them yourself.

Vehicle records
Your driving licence and each V5C log book are separate DVLA updates. Insurance, finance, parking permits, toll accounts, and EV charging apps may also need a new address.
Local services
A different area can affect council tax, GP registration, dentists, school applications, childcare, clubs, local permits, and waste collection arrangements.
Digital accounts
Streaming services, smart thermostats, online shops, delivery apps, and software subscriptions often keep billing or delivery addresses long after the move is over.
