How it works
Enter the letters you know from your guesses. Green letters are fixed in place, yellow letters must appear somewhere else, and grey letters are removed from the possible word list.
The solver filters a Wordle-specific five-letter word list in your browser, so it can help you think through the puzzle without scraping or revealing today's answer.
Results are scored so words with a stronger spread of useful letters appear near the top. Fresh-letter guesses are ranked separately to help you test unused letters when the remaining answer list is still too wide.

The fresh-letter guesses are valid five-letter Wordle guesses, but they may be tactical probes rather than likely final answers.
Duplicate letters can be tricky. If one copy of a letter is grey while another is green or yellow, add the grey letter too and the solver will cap that letter count.

Tips for better Wordle solver results
Use positions first
Add green letters before anything else. Exact positions remove the most noise from the result list.
Respect yellow clues
Put a yellow letter in the tile where it appeared in your guess. The solver will look for words where that letter appears somewhere else.
Add grey letters carefully
Grey letters are powerful filters, but repeated letters can change the clue. If the list disappears, remove the newest grey letter and check again.
Use fresh-letter guesses
When you still have a long list, try a fresh-letter word to test five unused letters instead of repeating letters you already understand.
